Our Offer in Detail

  • Recruit your next employee in 4 easy steps:

    1. You place a request through your Employer Dashboard, providing as much information about what kind of employees you’re looking for.

    2. If we have pre-interviewed candidates in mind, we introduce them to you. You can proceed with interviewing them, or if you’re looking for something different, we have a conversation about what exactly that is.

    3. You get additional vetted candidates, and may now take them through your own recruitment process.

    4. Once you’ve hired someone, and can confirm their employment is working out, you pay us a recruitment fee. Easy speedy.

    Our recruitment fee varies depending on the specifics of your request, but typically equals 90% of the agreed weekly wage of the person you’re hiring, or 70% if they have less than 2 years’ experience in the job they’re applying for.

    If you’re looking for staff accommodation, we may charge an additional, separate fee.

  • Stello provides agency staff through third parties in most markets, and occasionally directly. All our partners are well-regarded by workers and clients alike, and observe fair work practice and all regulation. This allows us to deliver outstanding service and great people.

    Hiring agency staff has many advantages, including flexibility, and keeping your own payroll small and paper work to a minimum. You’re still involved in the recruitment process, to ensure a great fit. This is how it works at Stello:

    1. You place a request through your Employer Dashboard.

    2. If we have pre-interviewed candidates in mind, we introduce them to you. You can proceed with interviewing them, or if you’re looking for something different, we have a conversation about what exactly that is.
      You’ll also be quoted an all-inclusive per-hour price.

    3. If you so request, you get introduced to additional, vetted candidates, and may now take them through your own recruitment process.

    4. Once you’ve picked someone, you sign an agreement with Stello or our partner, and your chosen candidate(s) go to work for you. You pay for their work by invoice - we take care of payroll and any other paper work.

    If you have company accommodation, you may offer it to agency workers and collect the rent. No housing? No worry - if we need to move workers to work for you, we arrange safe and good-quality housing for them.

  • While local recruitment has becoming increasingly efficient in the last few decades, international recruitment is still mostly reliant on small, inefficient recruiters, unscrupulous landlords, and unserious agents. We’re different from the competition in the following ways:

    • We advertise across Europe to create a truly international database of mobile jobseekers, and a close understanding of where supply is.

    • We work with only reputable agencies and landlords, to ensure that you as client receive the best service - and the strongest candidates.

    • We have screening interviews with all candidates, and offer them the opportunity to have their references taken ahead of application, so that our clients know the person they’re interviewing will do well at work.

    • We use the extent of our reach and service - all-European, covering most industries, and providing both recruitment and agency staff - to create economies of scale. This way we can be both better and cheaper than others.

    • If we incur additional costs in our search, for example by paying to advertise your job specifically, we never forward these costs to you. Our fee is all-inclusive and stated upfront.

  • For recruitment, our service is available in the entire EU and the EEA, and in the United Kingdom.

    We’re rapidly expanding our reach for providing agency staff. Not only do we do this proactively - we also sign partners and acquire company accommodation in response to individual requests. Hence we’re welcoming, and expect to fulfil, requests from across the EU and the EEA and the United Kingdom.

    As for industries, since starting out as a hospitality recruiter, we’ve expanded into a wide range of skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled blue-collar professions. And we’re expanding still, contracting expertise and partners as needed, with a view to become a one stop shop for any business looking to hire people or contract agency staff.

  • To stand out among the countless recruiters out there, which is crucial as we work with many shortage occupations, we ensure that all positions we recruit for are either:

    • Direct, formal, “traditional” employment contract with a business or a governmental authority.

    • Agency work for temping agencies that are well-regarded among both clients and workers, and hold all necessary certifications. This is particularly important given the high amount of unserious actors in this business. We do from time to time offer agency work for Stello directly, and hold ourselves to the highest standards.

    Furthermore, strong candidates trust us because:

    • We ensure fair and legal employment contracts, signed at the earliest practicable opportunity.

    • We guarantee full transparency as to when, where, and with what a candidate will work. Agency workers are always informed of the specifics about their placement

    • We ensure candidates get to work the hours, and for the term of contract, that they are promised.

    • For workers needing company housing, we ensure accommodation is clean, safe, and legal, and that its tenants are charged fair rent.

    Finally, as we grow and expand across the continent, we benefit from the sheer numbers involved, and being able to select only the best for your business.

  • To speed up the hiring process, and verify that a promising candidate is indeed a great one, we offer candidates the opportunity to have their references taken as soon as they sign up with us. Once this is done, they get a referenced tag that’s visible with their application. We also follow up on people who have worked through us previously.

    To maintain the integrity of the referencing process, we contact the referee at their work phone or work email, or otherwise ensure that their credentials are genuine.

  • Agency workers are paid for by monthly invoice, directly to us or to an agency partner.

    Recruitment services are invoiced at the day of engagement, with payment terms of 14 days. They are not payable if the candidate leaves within two weeks.
